Fire crews responded just before 1 a.m. to a home in the 800 block of Main Avenue to find the 52-year-old man who had reportedly jumped out of a second-floor balcony and a woman trapped on the same floor, authorities said.

The man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation and injuries from the fall, 6abc says.

A woman managed to climb from a second-story window onto a first-story roof and was rescued by firefighters, 6abc reports.

Officials confirm that three people and one cat were pulled from the house and treated by EMS, according to Corwells Fire Company.

Officials say were no working smoke alarms in the building, 6abc reports.
